Wookie Pellegrino, fur son to founders Michael and Dee Pellegrino Wookie was rescued in September of 2020 when he was 5 years old. He came from horrific conditions in a puppy mill. He was malnourished, had rotted teeth and worms and was petrified. He also has alopecia so all the fur on his back is gone. Its growing back slowly and his a perfectly healthy now. He is  full of love and resilience! He just needed a family to love him. Dee and Michael got him the best of care, and he is now 7 years old and loving life. Wookie enjoys winters in Florida, loves his visits to his condo in Myrtle Beach, and spends his Summers at the Jersey Shore. "Wookie is loved beyond words and is one of the most resilient doggies we know. He truly is a blessing in our lives”. Wookie actually has his own social media pages.
