Lacy Wolf

Resiliency Facilitator

Lacy currently serves as the Statewide Wellness Coordinator at the Employees Retirement System of Texas. She is responsible for promoting wellness initiatives that are offered to over 500,000 state employees, retirees and their family members. After completing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University, Lacy spent more than 12 years supporting the health of US Army personnel overseas in both Italy and Germany. During her time overseas, she earned a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Health Promotion from California University of Pennsylvania. In 2014 Lacy left her work for the Army to return home to work for the State of Texas and spent more than four years at the DPS State Trooper Training Academy. During her time there, she built a three-tiered resilience training model and was instrumental in building the Texas Department of Public Safety's six-week Physical Fitness Institute. She also currently serves as an instructor and subject matter expert for the FBINAA’s Officer Safety and Wellness Committee and is a faculty member at the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration (ILEA) and the Law Enforcement Institute of Texas (LEMIT), and teaches a weekly yoga class at the Pflugerville Police Department. She has spent her entire adult life “serving those who serve” and stays committed to that mission. Lacy is proudly married to Chris, a firefighter/paramedic and lives in Pflugerville with their two boys, Jackson and Dane and their two dogs Ralfie and Wendy.
