Adam Erskine

Facilitator

Adam Erskine has been with the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office for 21+ years and spent eight years in the United States Marine Corps as a Field Radio Operator. He is a combat veteran who served during Operation Just Cause in Panama and Operation Desert Storm. He served in the Air National Guard, at the 177th Fighter Wing, in Information Management, for 6 years. Adam lives in Hammonton NJ with his wife Helen. He has 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. Throughout his career at the Sheriff's Office, he worked undercover for seven years and spent seven years as the School Resource Officer at the Atlantic County Special Services School and the Atlantic County Alternative H.S. He was the D.A.R.E Officer, the L.E.A.D Officer, and is a Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs facilitator for the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife. Adam is currently assigned as a Detective Sergeant. Adam served as the President of the Atlantic County Juvenile Officers Association for 5 years and sat on the board of the Atlantic County Youth Services Commission for 3 years. Adam is a Mental Health and Developmental Disability De-escalation and Diversity trainer for Atlantic County as well as a Master Resiliency Trainer (MRT) and Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) trainer. Adam has his bachelor’s in social work from Stockton University. He is currently a semester away from his master’s degree with aspirations of working with veterans and law enforcement that suffer from PTS and addiction. Adam enjoys traveling and spending time with his family, relaxing by his pool, and playing video games competitively for Stockton University.
